Turnaround time?

Sessions: Typically 2 weeks, but please allow up to 3 weeks during busy season (Fall/Holiday). 

Weddings: Average gallery delivery is between 6-8 weeks, but please allow up to 12 weeks during busy season (September-December)

How do I get my final gallery? 

Your final gallery will be emailed to you. From there you can download your images, free of watermarks. You will have both web size and high resolution options. I recommend downloading both in two places, because it's always good to have a backup with technology these days!

Do I have print rights to my photos? 

Yes, the photos in your final gallery are yours to print, create wall art, cards, gifts, etc. I love mpix.com for nice quality prints and gifts. For wall art check out smallwoods.com. 

What should I wear?

I am happy to provide a styling guide and assist with making sure you look your best in your photos. Wardrobe can have a huge impact on your images, so let’s plan the perfect outfits! 

How do payments work? 

At the time of booking a retainer fee is required. Remaining balance is due the week of the session. 

Venmo @kaylasheltonphotography, Credit Card, and Cash are currently accepted.

Can I choose more photos than what comes with my package? 

Yes! For packages where you select a specific number of images you can add additional images on for $10/image. If you love the whole gallery I’m happy to do a bundle deal for multiple images! 

If weather is bad, can we reschedule? 

Absolutely! I want you to look amazing and have a great session, so if it’s raining we can definitely reschedule. I will ask that we wait until 12-24 hrs to decide since Cincinnati weather changes often. But if your concerned we can pencil in a rainout date and I’ll let you decide when the time comes. 

Where will pictures take place? 

For each session I will decide after I review your questionnaire. I want to know what your envisioning so I can find the perfect backdrop! I am also open to location suggestions if you have somewhere in mind already. 

Do you do mini sessions?

I offer a limited number of minis throughout the year - typically Spring, Fall, Christmas, and sometimes select holidays/occasions. They are limited to predetermined locations and time slots. Check Facebook, or look for Minis tab for current mini session promotions. Mini sessions are not available outside of the advertised dates/times. If you don't see a minis tab that means I do not currently have any scheduled.

Can our pets join?

 Yes (I love fur babies!). BUT please make sure to mention it in your questionnaire! Some locations aren’t pet friendly, so we will want to make sure to pick a place they can tag along. 

Do you have a studio? 

The great part of the Cincinnati photography scene is all of the amazing studios we can rent out! So I don’t have my own, but we can still do a studio session. You are responsible for the additional rental fee, and they range from $50-$100/hour depending on location/time of year. I will give you a couple options to match the vibe we’re going for so you can compare, then I’ll take care of booking your favorite one. Easy peasy!

(Note: in-studio newborn package already includes rental fee so no additional charge with that package). 

What to expect after booking:

Once we select the date, time and package type I will send over a contract for you to sign. That covers a detailed breakdown of payments, policies, and package details. Once the contract is signed and retainer is paid you will receive a questionnaire so I can get to know you and your vision for our session. Then I can help with styling questions and finalize the location. Then we meet on session day at our designated location, and I can capture all of the magical moments!
